About Makhtut
The “Makhtut Studio” initiative began in 2011 in Makkah as a creative research space that aimed to merge the arts of design with Arabic calligraphy. Over time, the initiative evolved to become an arts limited liability company, and it was officially registered in 2023 in Historic Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The company’s activities expanded to encompass various fields of the visual arts, including painting, fine arts, Arabic calligraphy, sculpture, installation works, digital arts, video art, and multimedia art. The company also works in the production and management of artistic and cultural projects, striving to enrich the local and global creative scene.
عن مخطوط
بدأت مبادرة “مرسم مخطوط” عام 2011 في مكة المكرمة كمساحة بحثية إبداعية تهدف إلى دمج فنون التصميم مع الخط العربي. مع مرور الوقت، تطورت المبادرة لتصبح شركة فنون ذات مسؤولية محدودة، وتم تسجيلها رسميًا عام 2023 في جدة التاريخية، المملكة العربية السعودية.
توسعت أنشطة الشركة لتشمل مختلف مجالات الفنون البصرية، بما في ذلك الرسم، والفن التشكيلي، والخط العربي، والنحت، والأعمال التركيبية، والفنون الرقمية، وفن الفيديو، وفن الوسائط المتعددة. كما تعمل الشركة في إنتاج وإدارة المشاريع الفنية والثقافية، سعيًا لتعزيز المشهد الإبداعي محليًا وعالميًا.
التزامات مخطوط
- منذ تأسيسه في عام 2011، يلتزم “مرسم مخطوط” بتقديم ساعة تعليمية مجانية في الفن مقابل كل عمل إبداعي يتم إنتاجه.
- منذ التسجيل الرسمي في عام 2023، تلتزم “مخطوط” بالمبادرات التالية:
- صندوق الدعم المجتمعي (مدد): تخصيص 10% من صافي الأرباح السنوية لدعم المبادرات المجتمعية من خلال التبرعات والهبات.
- صندوق دعم إنتاج المشاريع الجديدة (منح): تخصيص 5% من صافي الأرباح السنوية لدعم وإنتاج مشاريع فنية، وبحثية جديدة تثري المشهد الثقافي.
Makhtut’s Commitments
- Since its founding in 2011, “Makhtut Studio” has been committed to providing one free educational hour in the arts for every creative work it produces.
- Following its official registration in 2023, “Makhtut” has pledged to the following initiatives:
- Community Support Fund (Madad): Allocating 10% of annual net profits to support community initiatives through donations and grants.
- New Project Production Fund (Menah): Allocating 5% of annual net profits to support and produce new artistic and research based projects that enrich the cultural scene.
